For my songs genre(INDIE/INDIE ALTERNATIVE)- Aspects I will include in the music video
These screenshots from particular music videos fit the song's genre, which is an indie pop theme. The screenshots from various videos include dark and low lighting including pathetic falicy of the weather and misty grey themes. Other conventions included are a casual and edgy style where stylish and heavy boots are usually a commonly shown. Various scenes also like night scenes and crowds in places like parties/ raves are common. Also settings where there are bright flashing lights and slow glowing lights and neon colours. Also edited adjustments like the black and white filter, and colour adjustments where the saturation and focus and brightness of the video clip may be decreased, to display it as darker/more emotive. Extreme close ups of the artist/band are also known to be frequent in Indie music videos. Plain or simple locations/ backgrounds behind the artist or around the artist is also recognised as a convention of this genre in their music videos.
