This is my final draft of the music video of the song 'youth' by Daughter who are an indie band. I chose to upload this music video as my final draft because of the confidence I had in the video being edited to the best of my ability. In the final draft of the music video I perfected the range of varied shots and scenes into a narrative sequence, and nicely linked the content of the music video to the emotion and topics mentioned in the song lyrics. In this final draft it is clear to see also that I have fixed and adjusted the scenes in the first draft, which were either too long or didn't have a big significance to the lyrics or the overall diverse storyline. In this final draft it is also clear that footage of precise lipsyncing has been inserted for quite a large portion of the video, compared to the first draft below where it contains minimal and unaccurate lipsyncing which doesn't match. Although this final cut contains specific lipsyncing and convincing deep emotion that the artist expresses when singing. All added lipsyncing clips are all presented in a setting where the backdrop behind the artist is simple, and draws more focus on the artist and the emotion in the lyrics, which is also a key constructional convention with indie music videos.
